FL06 Solar 'Multi-Purpose' 45 LED Flag Pole Light
The U.S. Code states that: "It is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flag staffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness." Solar Illuminations is pleased and proud to offer the world's first, 'true' flag pole lighting kit. Designed by Solar Illuminations and only available from Solar Illuminations. This, heavy duty, commercial grade, weatherproof, multi-purpose solar light is made exclusively by Solar Illuminations and has 45 super bright LED light bulbs which provide a light output equal to about 75 watts. Fully automatic activation (on at dusk and off at dawn). For wall mounting or ground mounting and can also be attached using our optional ground spike kit (product code FL01) or directly to a flag pole using our special clamp attachment kit (product code FL02). The solar panel can also be attached directly to a flag pole, if required, using our optional solar panel clamp attachment kit (product code FL08). The fact that this light fixture can attach directly to a flag pole is the first such design in the world to allow this and it was designed by Solar Illuminations. The solar panel can be situated next to the light fixture or at a distance of up to several feet away. The solar panel incorporates a support bracket to allow installation to a solid vertical or horizontal surface. The rechargeable battery is included. It is contained inside the fixture and only needs replacing every year or two. This solar powered fixture is ideal for lighting up flag poles so there is no longer the need to lower your flag at dusk any more. Perfect for use where electricity is unavailable or too expensive or difficult to install. Quick and easy permanent or temporary installation. The fixture incorporates a main light body consisting of 45 super bright LED bulbs and angle/tilt adjustment with the attached support bracket. This light provides an output equal to that of about 75 watts of light. The LED's typically last for 22 years so there are no bulb changes. This solar light fixture may light up a flag pole up to 25' to 30' high. Naturally, the darker the location the more effective and noticeable the illumination will be. May be used on a taller flag pole to provide illumination to the extent of what a 75 watt light fixture can provide. It can be clamped onto the flag pole using our optional clamp attachment kits and therefore enables the fixture to be positioned further up the flag pole closer to the flag, if necessary. Naturally there is a limitation with the maximum intensity any solar powered (battery operated) light fixture can provide. This fixture is offered with a choice of solar panels. The wattage of the solar panel does not affect the illumination brightness It is the solar panel that converts sunshine into electricity to recharge the battery each day. We therefore recommend that the 6 Watt solar panel should only be used in locations that generally receive a good level of year-round sunshine. The 6 Watt solar panel should only be used in the most Southern US states and also in South America, Southern Europe, Africa, Australasia and Southern Asia. The 7 Watt should be used in geographic locations where there is less annual sunshine than average. The 10 Watt solar panel should be used where there is limited sunshine. For the most demanding applications, where the maximum performance is required from this fixture, the 10 Watt solar panel is recommended regardless of geographic location. The innovative fixture also incorporates a switch for manual on/off setting and a photocell (light sensor) which automatically activates the light when it becomes dark and deactivatees the light during the day time. The medium size will fit a pole up to approximately 3 1/2" diameter. The large size will fit a pole up to approximately 4 1/2" diameter. Although this clamp is designed for use with our FL06 fixture, it may be possible for use with our FL05 fixture however you will have to re-drill the holes in the 'U' Bracket to match up with this attachment clamp. If you need to replace your solar panel for your FL06, FL07 or FL05 light fixture or IL03 wall light then we offer a choice of solar panels for purchase alone. Any wattage solar panel can be used with the FL06, FL07and IL03 fixture. The FL05 fixture requires a 10 Watt solar panel. The higher the solar panel wattage, the more efficient it will be in generating electricity to recharge the battery within the light fixture. The solar panel has an aluminum frame. Choose from either a 6 Watt, 7 Watt or 10 Watt panel.

RB01 Replacement Rechargeable Battery (For FL & SF Series)

This is a sealed lead acid battery suited for our SF and FL series of floodlights and security lights. The 6 Volt 4 Amp/Hour version is a direct replacement for our SF01 halogen floodlight and our FL03 24 LED floodlight and our SF03 24 LED security floodlight. The 6 Volt 6 Aamp/Hour version is a direct replacement for the original FL04 32 LED floodlight. The latest and current version of the FL04 32 LED floodlight uses a 4 Volt 4.5Amp/Hour battery. The FL05 108 LED floodlight uses a 12 Volt 4.5 Amp/Hour battery. The FL06 and FL07 45 LED floodlights use a 12 volt 2 A/Hr battery. Please select the capacity required depending upon your fixture product code. If in any doubt please email, call or check the battery in your fixture to see its specifications. Please note, any 6 volt battery that is marked 4.2 Amp/Hour will be basically the same as a 4 Amp/Hour version. This is a sealed lead acid battery suited for our FL09 and FL10 series of floodlights and billboard lights. Our FL09 system typically uses a 12 volt 65 Amp/hour battery and our FL10 series typically uses a 12 volt 18 Amp/hour battery. Please select the capacity required depending upon your fixture product code. If in any doubt please email, call or check the battery in your fixture to see its specifications. We recommend that the battery in the FL09 and FL10 series is replaced every 12-18 months, depending upon climate and usage etc. Shelf life, for storing sealed lead acid batteries, is about 12 months, approximately. When replacing batteries in dual-battery systems, both batteries should be replaced at the same time. Due to the nature of this product and its weight, ground shipping only.
