We are pleased to offer the 'High-Lux' solar powered street light within our collection as it's made exclusively for Solar Illuminations. This solar street light is not available anywhere else. This innovative new powered solar street light uses the latest LED technology to ensure optimum reliability and performance. Illumination time is generally from dusk to dawn and is fully automated via a photocell (light sensor). This system stores reserve power to allow for up to several days of cloudy weather. The light head is fitted with either 744 Cree® LED's or 972 Cree® LED's which have a typical lifespan of approximately 100,000 hours (about 22 years). The 744 LED lamp provide almost 4500 Lumens, the 972 LED lamp provides almost 6000 Lumens. The lamp head attaches to the support arm which, in turn, fixes to the pole. The pole has a integral base which can be bolted directly to a level, solid surface. A ground anchor kit and templates are included. A battery box is supplied to facilitate the rechargeable batteries. The 140w or 180w solar panel attaches direct to the pole and is rated for use in most applications. For systems using 744 LED's a 140w solar panel is recommended for most locations although a higher wattage solar panel can be supplied for more demanding locations or areas of limited sunshine. For systems using 972 LED's a 180w solar panel is recommended. We can supply higher wattage solar panels, where necessary, at additional cost. Light output is equal to a conventional street light of approximately 200-400 Watts (subject to LED quantity in lamp). The system operates at maximum output from dusk until dawn. An optional, unique, 50/50 feature is available which provides illumination at maximum output for the first 6 hours after dusk and then reduces to 50% output for the remaining hours until dawn. This feature can help at installation sites in less favorable locations where insolation hours are reduced or where maximum output is simply not required all night long. This solar street light can be custom made to meet your specifications. We can install any quantity of LED's with the lamp head (up to 1000) and we can supply almost any size solar panel. This 24 volt system is supplied complete, with battery box, two 12 volt batteries and an installation kit. Standard color of fixture is silver/gray. For those looking for a high performance, economical, readily available 'out-of-the-box' product look no further than our 'High-Lux' solar powered street light. The perfect solution to a fast return on your investment into 'Green Energy' designed exclusively by Solar Illuminations. This solar street light is not available anywhere else. This innovative solar street fixture uses the latest technology to ensure optimum reliability and performance. Illumination time is generally from dusk to dawn and is fully automated without the need of a time clock. This system stores reserve power to allow for up to several days of cloudy weather in most locations. The lamp head is fitted with 744 LED's or 564 SMD's which have a typical lifespan of up to approximately 100,000 hours (about 22 years) and provide around 4500 Lumens. We also offer the same system but fitted with 972 LED's or 729 SMD's with a light output of around 6000 Lumens and suited to applications where more intense illumination is required or when the lamp unit is mounted at a greater height. Each LED produces 6 Lumens and each SMD produces 8 Lumens. Our LED's and SMD's use Cree® chips.

We offer two options with this system. A pole mount kit (PMK) or a wall mount kit (WMK). Both kits are supplied with a LED/SMD lamp unit, a lamp support arm, a solar panel, two batteries, a lockable battery box, a solar panel support and connection cables. The pole mount system is supplied with a collar (union) that enables the solar panel to attach to the top of an existing pole, a battery box that can attach to an existing pole and a lamp support arm that can attach to an existing pole. The wall mount kit is supplied with a pair of solar panel support frames for wall mounting, a lamp support arm for wall mounting and a battery box for wall mounting. Of course the solar panel could be mounted on a roof, if necessary.

Both kits are plug & play therefore installation and set-up is fast and very easy. Both kits are supplied with two 12 volt batteries to create a 24 volt system. The lamp unit houses the LED/SMD light board and also a compact, combined driver and charge control PCB. All boards are plug & play. Typically the 744 LED lamp is supplied with a 140w solar panel and two 12v 100 Amp/Hr batteries and the 972 LED lamp is supplied with a 180w solar panel and two 12v 120 Amp/Hr batteries. Light output is equal to conventional street lighting of approximately 400 Watts of incandescent lighting such as LPS (subject to LED quantity in lamp). The system operates at maximum illumination from dusk until dawn, controlled automatically via a photocell built into the lamp unit. An optional, unique, 50/50 feature is available which provides illumination at maximum output for the first 6 hours after dusk and then reduces to 50% output for the remaining hours until dawn. This feature can help at installation sites in less favorable locations where insolation hours are reduced or where maximum output is simply not required all night long. If you require the 50/50 feature it is $99 extra.

This solar street light can be custom made to meet your specifications. We can install any quantity of LED's with the lamp head (up to 1000 LED's) and we can supply almost any size solar panel (up to 290 Watts). This fairly traditional looking, all aluminum fixture, has a vandal resistant, clear polycarbonate lampshade and the solar panel discretely built into the top of the fixture. The lampshade is about 25" high and about 14" diameter. Standing around 12' high, this lamp post is perfect for use in a wide variety of applications such as driveways and pathways etc. It can be used for both residential and commercial applications as well as use in public areas. This is a sealed lead acid battery suited for our SL01, SL02 and SL03 series of street lights. Please select the capacity required depending upon your fixture product code. If in any doubt please email, call or check the battery in your fixture to see its specifications. We recommend that the battery in these street lights, is replaced every 2-4 years approximately, depending upon climate and usage etc. When replacing batteries in dual-battery systems, both batteries should be replaced at the same time. The original SL01 usd a 12v 50 Amp/Hr battery but for some time has (and uses) a 100 Amp/Hr battery. The SL03 uses a 12v 65 Amp/Hr battery although it can sometimes be supplied with (and accepts) a 12v 60 Amp/Hr or 12v 70 Amp/Hr battery.
