Floodlight bracket has 3 holes to allow fixing using screws or bolts (not included). As this product has a wide variety of uses and can be used for many different applications, you may find it necessary to use other parts, that are not included, to aid installation for your particular situation. For example, you may wish to fix the fixture or solar panel to a pole (we do not include a pole) and therefore you will need to provide the necessary adaption to enable fixing to a pole and the pole itself. Another example, you may wish to bolt the fixture to the ground. You would then need a smooth level surface in place, such as concrete or a concrete slab. You will then need to fix the solar panel nearby and you may wish to make a bracket for the solar panel or some other device to enable its normal operation. For less straight forward or unusual installations you may need to use your own fixings to accommodate the solar panel and/or the floodlight. May provide flag pole illumination up to approx. 30'-35' high, or maybe higher, subject to the extent of what a 100-150 watt light fixture can provide. Customers often report satisfactory results when used on a flag pole up to 40' high, in dark locations. For attaching this fixture directly to a round post, round pole or flag pole we recommend using our clamp attachment kit (product code FL12). A solar panel clamp attachment kit is available as an optional extra and enables the solar panel to be fixed to a round post, round pole or flag pole (product code FL13). May be wall mounted, possibly fixed to a pole or post or possibly to the ground to a flat, firm surface. For uplighting from the ground when flag pole lighting, we recommend fixing to a small, short wooden post (not included). Operates up to 8 hours, or more, during the hours of darkness, in ideal conditions, although we are unable to guarantee an specific illumination duration, subject to the solar panel wattage and other factors mentioned below. Typically about 4-5 hours of sunshine daily is required to enable full charge, subject to the solar panel wattage and other factors mentioned below. Product dimensions (main floodlight body) approx. 11"x8"x6.5" (LxWxH). Solar cell panel dimensions approx. 16"x14"x1" (LxWxD) depending upon the solar panel wattage selected. Wall bracket (supplied attached to the floodlight) is approx. 8"x1" (LxW) and has 3 holes pre-drilled to allow fixing. Time length of night time illumination is estimated and subject to various factors including geographic location, seasons, weather conditions & location of product etc. Shorter illumination time due to one or more of the above factors does not define the fixture as being defective or define the fixture as being advertised incorrectly. We advertise and supply our solar lights to customers all over the world are therefore, naturally, we are unable to guarantee the nightly illumination time as it can vary and any time stated is quoted as 'up to' x amount hours. Minor errors & omissions must be accepted. Although unlikely, we reserve the right to supply this product with any minor alterations or minor changes to the specifications (shown above by text description or by photographs) due to different supplies or product batches received, incorporating such product changes made by the manufacturer, without further notice. Descriptions, specifications and photographs are updated regularly but may not be current when minor changes to a product have only recently been made. A higher wattage solar panel is always recommended over a lower wattage as it will be more efficient at recharging the battery and therefore helping to increase the illumination time. All solar lights must be used in a completely dark location at night time otherwise they may not illuminate. Nearby strong lighting sources or ambient lighting may affect the operation of a solar light. This does not define the fixture as being defective or 'not as described'. Naturally, the illumination duration (light-up time) of most solar lights can reduce during winter months when the weather is poor and the days are shorter. During this time insolation hours decrease accordingly. This does not define the fixture as being defective or 'not as described'. |
